Indiana Archaeological Society & Central States Archaelogical SocietyM- Winchester Show

Mark Retz, a native of Randolph County, Indiana first began his love of artifact collecting in 1963, while helping his dad on the farm during planting season in Ward Twp.  While chasing a seed sack on a windy day, Mark discovered his very first arrowhead and he's been on the look out ever since.  Mark, a member of the Indiana Archaeological Society, shared this passion with his father, and has added to their combined collection which will be featured at the up coming Prehistoric Indian Artifact Show, and you are invited.

A show is being planned for the Randolph County Indiana area for the first time since 1973 on area Prehistoric Indian Artifacts.  Plan to spend a few hours learning about our local history in a new way.  Hopefully, this will be the first of an annual show here in Randolph Co.  Currently there are over 110 tables already spoken for for the 2015 show and will feature items from Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Tennessee, Illinois and Iowa.

The Randolph County Fair Grounds is located at the intersection of US 27 and 200 S, Winchester, Indiana.

Mark your calendar for September 12, 2015; 8am - 3pm FREE  admission.
